For those who still don’t believe that “smoking kills”
If you haven’t realized by now, the theme of this blog is going to be living with lung cancer. The main topics that I will be sharing about are what it’s like, what to do if you’ve been diagnosed, and cancer awareness and prevention.
I want to give you an insider’s perspective about what it’s like to have been diagnosed with lung cancer and share what my journey has been so far. This blog will talk about what I’m going through, struggles I’ve faced, how I’m dealing with it all and everything in between.
Also, I hope that this will be helpful for others who are going through the same thing so that we can all support one another. Because you don’t have to go through this process alone, so I’ll be sharing advice on what to do if you’ve been diagnosed and how to move forward.
And lastly, it is my intention to help teach others about cancer awareness and cancer prevention. Because obviously anyone can get cancer, but there are definitely ways that you can help prevent and minimize your risk of cancer. And I wish I had been more aware of how to reduce my own risk of cancer before I got diagnosed.
This blog is really going to be a compilation of resources, stories, and things that I wish I had known before and after getting diagnosed with cancer. These are topics that no one really discussed with me and that I never thought I would have to deal with until I had no choice but to learn and figure it out.
And it’s also going to be sharing my struggles and advice with you as I go on this journey. So that you can learn from me and maybe even benefit somehow from my struggle. So that’s what you can expect this blog to be all about!
